Playgrounds aren't always happy places

No, this has nothing to do with bad things happening at them; rather that some can be bad by design. There's a 2 part blog that starts here, chronicling playgrounds that are mostly found in former communist areas. Some are horrific, some are strange, some funny, and some just artsy but odd.
