Playgrounds aren't always happy places
No, this has nothing to do with bad things happening at them; rather that some can be bad by design. There's a 2 part blog that starts here, chronicling playgrounds that are mostly found in former communist areas. Some are horrific, some are strange, some funny, and some just artsy but odd. Definitely worth a browse.
